About Strength Through Balance
The Struggle Is Real and YES, It Is Worth It!
You’re considering therapy to learn new ways to show up more in your life.
The most enjoyable part for me is when you discover just how simple it can be.
The part of therapy that makes the difference is not just having someone to be real with, however needed that may be. It is finding that connection to someone combined with the confidence of someone who has walked a similar path.
With small and less scary steps, you will build your confidence and willingness to face your discomfort.
The Skills That Won’t Leave You
There is pain in life. No one escapes it.
But we do have a choice in suffering. We are able to choose how we understand the pain and how we interact with it.
Once you peek behind the curtain of how your thoughts lead your feelings and behaviors, you will never forget.
You may get distracted, but the knowledge and skills will remain. Therapy will help you get more focused and remember how to pick up those skills again.
Learn to Find Your Truth Again
When you begin to slow down, you can breathe and be in the present moment, once again hearing your inner truth.
Our work together will help you tune in.

Find a Companion for Your Journey
People often refer to my style as warm, welcoming and real.
A path can seem less scary when you have someone who has already found a more direct way to go.
The First Steps
We begin by gaining comfort through consistency and familiarity.
With weekly meetings, we will build your confidence by witnessing evidence that you are on the right path.

Be Patient with Change
We don’t create desired change in one step.
It is like a ladder.
We can’t get to the top without taking each step that is next.
You Pick the Destination
In our journey, you will determine the direction, pace and desired outcome.
This can be the first place to remember how to listen to your truth and how to put yourself first.
Let’s talk and plan your journey together, now.
